On Saturday, September 28rd, the City of Pleasant Hill is having their Annual Community Service Day, and we have this opportunity to help! Following are the two ways you can show support:
(1) Join the Church-Wide Food Drive and bring a bag filled with food items to one of the barrels in the foyer by Sunday, Sept 22rd. We will also need volunteers to help sort the donations on the 28th for the Community Service Day Event! Food items most wanted by the bank include the following:
- peanut butter
- soup
- dried or canned beans
- canned meats/tuna
- canned tomato products
- enriched rice or pasta
- iron-rich and whole-grain cereal
(2) Help with service projects at:
This year you can sign up for light, medium, or Heavy Projects.
You can sign up online or in the courtyard on Sundays
The event begins at 7:30 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Park on Gregory Lane. Volunteers receive:
- FREE! Pancake breakfast at PH Park (7:30 a.m.)
- FREE! T-Shirt (1st 500 Volunteers)
