On Saturday, September 22rd, the City of Pleasant Hill is having their Annual Community Service Day, and we have this opportunity to help! Following are the two ways you can show support:
Sign up online!
(1) Join the Church-Wide Food Drive and bring a bag filled with food items by the church at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept 22rd. We will also need volunteers to help sort the donations! Food items most wanted by the bank include the following: .
- peanut butter
- soup
- dried or canned beans
- canned meats/tuna
- canned tomato products
- enriched rice or pasta
- iron rich and whole grain cereal
(2) Help with service projects at:
The City of Pleasant Hill has issued a special request for helpers for the Mt. Diablo Center. Consider helping with some general maintenance, yard work and clean up.
- Pleasant Hill Library (Light work)
- Pleasant Hill Middle School (Cleanup and General Maintenance)
- (Special Request) Mt. Diablo Center - Adult Day Center for those with Alzheimers
- (Special Request) Pleasant Hill Park Cleanup

You can sign up online or in the courtyard on Sundays.
The event begins at 7:30 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Park on Gregory Lane. Volunteers receive:
