Each year in the springtime we take a week to remember God’s mission for his church in the world. This year we get to hear from 3 guest speakers for our Mission Emphasis.
On March 1st Carlos Montoya will come and share from the word of God for our 2 main services. Carlos serves as the President of MEDA a seminary in Honduras where Latin American pastors are trained to preach from the Bible with Power, Passion, and Precision. Carlos is also a pastor at Betania Baptist Church in Siguatepeque Honduras. He and his wife Lori have been serving there since 2001.
Additionally, Edwin Zelaya will come and share the word of God in our Hispanic Services in the afternoon. Edwin teaches Biblical Greek at MEDA as well as other institutions in Honduras. He serves alongside Carlos as a pastor at Betania Baptist Church working with youth and young families.
On March 8th, we’ll hear from Tony Arnds, a pastor in Potter Valley who is seeking to plant a church in Folsom, CA. Tony teaches locally at the Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary in Vallejo.
