Women's Ministry

The purpose of Women of Grace Ministries is to encourage and equip women to grow spiritually, build covenant relationships, and serve in community life, all to the glory of God. If you have any questions about our Women’s Ministry, you can contact us at the church office at (925) 676-1584.

Women's Daytime Bible Studies

To encourage and equip women to grow spiritually.
Studies meet Thursdays (childcare provided) from 9:45-11:30 a.m., or Saturdays from 8-9 a.m. Fall and Spring studies meet for 11-15 weeks. Summer study meets mid-May through July. Sign up and purchase books on Sundays at the Women of Grace table in the courtyard.

Mary & Martha (M&M)

To build covenant relationships and encourage service.
M&M meets six times at various throughout the year. During our times together, a woman from GBC will present her testimony and her particular skill, hobby, or interest, followed by a time of fellowship together over an activity coordinated with the presentation. Women are encouraged to invite friends who do not necessarily attend church to come! Watch for announcements in the Sunday bulletins and posters in the lady's restroom.

Baby Celebrations

To encourage and equip women to grow spiritually and build church-family relationships.
Baby Celebrations are held seasonally. Mommies who have had or are expecting babies each season are invited, along with all the Women of Grace and the mothers' guests, to celebrate these new lives. A light meal is served over the time of fellowship followed by a devotional and a time of prayer. Only gifts from the WOG Ministry, the GBC Nursery, and Sisters Sew-n-Sew are presented. Watch for announcements in the Sunday bulletin and posters in the lady's restroom. Join us, and let your presence be your present to the young moms of our Grace family!

Spring Opportuni-Tea

To encourage service in community life.
For this event, the women of GBC and their guests enjoy an afternoon tea. A guest speaker from a local organization supported by GBC shares her testimony and insights, encouraging us to consider personal participation with this organization.

Fall Conference

To encourage and equip women to grow spiritually.
This annual conference begins Friday evening and lasts through Saturday afternoon. Women are invited to gather to hear from a guest speaker expounding from Scripture. We share meals together, times of praise music, teaching, prayer and fellowship. Dates to be announced in the Sunday bulletin.

Ornament Exchange

To build church-family relationships and enjoy the Lord's people.
From 3:30-5:30 p.m. on the first Sunday afternoon each December, the ladies are invited together for food, fellowship, sharing, and a fun game of exchanging Christmas Tree ornaments.
