Ray Estenoz

Pastoral Assistant over Hispanic Ministry

Raymundo "Ray" Estenoz was born and raised in Cuba. He came to Christ at 17 years old. From 1995 to 2017 he served as Pastor in the Western Baptist Convention of Cuba.  1997 he married his wife Maria and began a family. Ray then graduated from Havana Baptist Seminary in 1999 and from 2004 he became a professor and director of the Chair of Pastoral Ministry and Theology. In 2007, he founded the Theological Institute of Cuba (ITEC) to train Pastors and leaders around Cuba.

Ray has a Master's Degree from the Baptist Seminary of Havana. He has his Certificate of Theology from Moore Theological College. He has his Ph. D. from South Africa Theological Seminary (SATS). He now lives in the East Bay with his wife Maria, and two sons. He has a deep passion to teach the Bible and equip the saints for the work of the ministry. In February 2018 Ray joined  Grace Bible Church and as of August 2018, he works as a Pastoral Assistant over our Hispanic Ministry.

Michael Sanelli

Worship & Young Adult Minister

Michael was born and raised in the Bay Area. Christ saved him from the life of a Pharisee in the 5th grade. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance at Sac State in 2009. He met his wife Jody through The Youth Group here at Grace and they married in October 2010. After graduating from college, the Lord called him to be more deeply involved in ministry. He received his formal training at Grace School of Theology and Ministry as well as at The Cornerstone Seminary, graduating with an M. Div. in 2015. Michael and Jody have two sons, Malachi and Jadon. Michael previously lead our Jr. High Ministry and now serves as the Minister of Worship and Young Adult Ministries. He desires to continue to grow under the leadership of the Elders and minister the gospel of grace wherever Christ may have him.

Luke Shelnutt

Youth Minister

Luke has been part of the youth group staff at GBC since 2009. He graduated from the Master's College in 2013 with a BA in Christian Ministries and is currently pursuing his M.Div at The Cornerstone Bible Seminary. Luke has a passion for youth and loves teaching, discipleing, and caring for the students at GBC. Luke lives in Concord with his wife Katie, his son Jericho, and his daughter Hosanna.
